Dye I4 Spaceblood

Postby unquestioned » Sun Apr 17, 2011 8:12 pm

So I've had a Dye I4 mask for about 2 years now & I have never liked how it looks, never liked how any of them looked but they are comfy, never fog & I can wear a helmet with them.

But today, I figured, big game is in 2 weeks, might aswell make them look better. So with about 10 minutes of prep, 5 minutes of painting & 2 hours drying time. I now have Spaceblood I4's. I'm quite happy with the end result.
Plastic primer base was applied then before it dried it was total silver, then a light coat of burgundy red, white specks, light black coat, bit more silver, bit more red, bit more white, finish with black & a gloss coat to finish.

Of course due to them being flexible they may not wear well but I can just paint them again.
